after christmas, the hubs and i made a quick dash to north carolina (near charlotte) to spend time his family. the town they live in is so quaint, almost like you've stepped back in time. it was nice to unplug and spend time thinking and talking about the upcoming year. now i feel refreshed and recharged, which is handy because today it's back to work.

Oh, those Burberry oxfords! They are one of the pairs of shoes I will forever file under "the one(s) that got away". Love them!
