i will always have a soft spot in my heart for isaac mizrahi. he is such a fashion personality and i appreciate his honesty and love for what he does. i always love his "semicouture" collections and the one for fall is no exception. the leaf motifs weren't my favorite, but i did love the elegant loose trousers, chunky aran knits, grandpa sweaters worn with strapless dresses for day, floor grazing skirts, folklore furs and sweaters, and cummerbund waist skirts.
also fun: isaac's bright pinks and reds, and the easy, elegant eveningwear, with a last exit of a herringbone strapless gown with a full skirt and cinched with a leather belt.

Hi Kim. Great minds think alike. I just finished writing my post for Friday morning, and top billing and soft-spot award went to Isaac. As a matter of fact, I chose two of your three photos at the tops as my faves.
